Gainesville, Fla. (July 8, 2024) — CPAmerica, Inc.’s annual Next Generation Conference (NextGen) was
held June 12-14, 2024, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Denver, Colo. This meeting is one of more than 15
signature events CPAmerica holds throughout the year. With over 150 individuals representing 68
member firms in attendance, the 2024 meeting was a success.

Specifically designed for our member firms’ successful seniors and managers, this year’s meeting
featured noteworthy speakers providing insights into a variety of leadership and management skills.
Deedre Daniel, founder and president of The Interesting Conversations Company, opened the meeting
with her highly interactive keynote presentation. Additionally, attendees were divided into two groups with
Jeremy Clopton from Upstream Academy leading the intermediate track attendees, and Arianna
Campbell from Boomer Consulting leading the advanced track participants. Members also benefited from
Kristen Rampe of Rosenberg Associates and the “Ask a Partner” panel discussion featuring member firm
partners, Haleigh Gonzalez (Soukup, Bush & Associates), Tricia Katebini (GRF CPAs & Advisors), and
Sam Latimer (Rushton).

The Strategic Thinking Pre-Conference with Jon Lokhorst from Lokhorst Consulting also broke records
with 84 attendees. Through this optional session, participants had the opportunity to enhance their
strategic thinking and innovation skills.

One advanced track attendee, Hannah Bailey, Aldrich Group, shared, “I have been inspired to look at
talent retention, my leadership, and how to use retention and development strategies to assist with
workload balancing concepts I have been thinking about working on.”

Thank you to our NextGen Conference sponsors, McGuire Sponsel and LumiQ. McGuire Sponsor was
our Inspiring Partner providing sponsorship throughout the conference. LumiQ sponsored the Do Good,
Feel Good Service Project with Project Helping, which provided 160 individuals with financial literacy and
site words kits.

The 2025 NextGen Conference will be held June 11-13, at JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District
in Savannah, Ga.
