Norfolk, Virginia (August 13, 2024) — Wall, Einhorn & Chernitzer, P.C. (WEC), a prominent Norfolk-based CPAmerica member firm, is pleased to announce the promotions of four employees effective July 1st, 2024. Angela Kerns, CPA, HCCP, leads the firm as Managing Shareholder.         

Hannah Loupos, CPA, started at WEC as an intern in January 2018 and transitioned to full-time in August 2018. She graduated from Old Dominion University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. With a versatile skill set, Hannah manages various areas at WEC, including operating companies, real estate, and individual tax services, specializing in gift tax. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter Sylvie and her golden retriever, baking, crocheting, and going to the beach. Having lived in three different states while working with WEC, Hannah embraces a dynamic lifestyle and looks forward to further developing her accounting expertise in this exciting new role.

Iman Calloway, CPA, joined the firm as an intern in January 2021 and transitioned to a full-time role in August 2022. She graduated in May 2022 from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor in Business Analytics. She recently became one of WEC’s newest CPAs after passing the exam last October. Iman specializes in tax preparation for both individuals and entities, focusing on operating companies and real estate. Outside of work, she enjoys weightlifting and cycling. In this new chapter with WEC, Iman looks forward to learning as much as possible and taking on more leadership responsibilities.

Rice Van Coutren started at the firm as an intern in June 2022 and became a full-time staff member in August 2022. His specialty is accounting and auditing services for government contracting, not-for-profit, and franchise clients. Rice graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science, and then from East Carolina University in 2021 with a Master of Science in Accounting. In his spare time, Rice enjoys exercising, reading, hanging out on the beach, traveling, and snowboarding during the winter season. He is excited to continue growing as a professional and is looking forward to passing the CPA exam in this next chapter with WEC.

Stephen Magyar joined WEC in January 2022 as an intern and started full-time in May 2022. His focus is on the taxation of manufacturers and operating companies. He graduated from Old

Dominion University in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. In his spare time, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family, his two cats, and two dogs. He is excited for the opportunity to grow and develop in this next chapter with the firm.
