Washington, Iowa (January 1, 2024) — LattaHarris, LLP is thrilled to announce the elevation of Elainie G. Turner to the position of Principal, effective January 1, 2024. At an incredibly young age, Elainie has achieved what few have—becoming the youngest partner in our firm’s history.
Her dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence have been evident since she began her journey with us as an intern in 2015. Elainie has consistently demonstrated an exceptional understanding of accounting principles and the law of taxation, an innovative mindset, and a remarkable ability to lead and inspire others.
She currently specializes in small business and agriculture taxation and ensures seamless financial management support through bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax and QuickBooks services as is currently our Director of Accounting. Her holistic financial approach goes beyond immediate tax solutions, working collaboratively with each client’s financial advisor and attorney to strategize reaching goals through comprehensive pre- and post-tax planning.
An alumna of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Elainie earned her B.A. in accounting and business administration in December 2015. As an active member of the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants (ISCPA), and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Elainie stays involved in industry trends and advancements.
Outside of her professional achievements, Elainie is a prominent leader within the Washington community, serving as current President of the Kids Corral Inc. Daycare Board, sits on the Main Street Washington Board of Directors and the Main Street Washington Organization Committee, as well as sits on the ISCPA Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee and is past president of the Washington Chamber Ambassadors.
Elainies’s promotion to Principal reflects the firm’s commitment to recognizing and fostering exceptional talent within its ranks. LattaHarris looks forward to the continued success and growth that she will bring to the firm in her expanded leadership role.
