Salt Lake City, Utah (January 17, 2024) — Larson & Company is proud to announce the addition of three new partners to their leadership group. All were promoted from within the firm, and some began their careers with Larson as interns. Allison Johnson, CPA, and Daniel Bringhurst, CPA, were promoted to Audit Partners and Amber Robbins, CPA, was promoted to Tax Partner.
Allison Johnson started with Larson & Company as an intern 12 years ago and has specialized in audits of insurance companies, captive insurance companies, and employee benefit plans. She is a graduate of Brigham Young University. Allison is currently the leader of the insurance industry practice group and the education/training committee. She has over 10 years of experience in insurance accounting. While she started her career as an intern in our firm, she has grown her reputation and expertise working on our most important insurance clients and her new position as partner is the culmination of that training. Her grasp of statutory accounting is impressive, and she compiles Larson & Company’s statutory accounting updates each quarter from the NAIC updates.
Daniel Bringhurst started with Larson & Company as an intern 11 years ago and has specialized in audits of captive insurance companies, non-public companies, and mergers and acquisitions. He is a graduate of the University of Utah. Daniel is currently the leader of the captive insurance industry practice group and the mentoring committee for the Audit Department. Daniel has over 10 years of experience in public accounting. Known for his thoughtful, organized, and systematic approach, Daniel brings a high level of analytical skills to address client issues. His proficiency and knowledge guide clients towards optimal solutions, earning their trust through timely and impactful problem-solving. Daniel’s journey from intern to partner within our firm underscores his dedication to success through hard work and expanding expertise.
Amber Robbins started at Larson & Company 10 years ago. She specializes in tax planning and preparation for private equity real estate companies, small businesses, and corporations. She is a graduate of Southern Utah University. Amber leads the training program for the tax department. Amber has over 13 years of experience in public accounting and tax preparation, and she is known for the high level of quality she delivers to each client. She is a true small business advisor, giving clients help in whatever capacity she can to help nurture their businesses to be successful and profitable. As the first woman licensed as a CPA to become a tax partner at Larson & Company, she brings a new level of visibility to women in this industry.
