Heath Erickson, CPA has joined Widmer Roel, a local public accounting and business advisory firm. As a Senior Audit Manager at Widmer Roel, Heath provides audit, assurance, and consulting services for a wide range of clients.
Heath has nearly 17 years’ experience providing audits, and consulting services to local and state governments. He is the former Audit Manager at the North Dakota State Auditor’s Office, where he led the team responsible for North Dakota’s local governments.
Heath is a graduate from the University of Jamestown where he earned a Bachelor of Accounting degree. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2014. He is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Dakota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
What do you like to do in your free time?: “I like to hang out with my wife and kids, find good deals on Facebook Market Place, and do some sort of exercise.”
Do you have any pets?: “We have 3 dogs, various outdoor cats, chickens, ducks, and sheep.”
What do you enjoy the most about auditing?: “I enjoy the fact that it’s a challenge, it’s a different day at work every day, and I get to work directly with various clients. It’s also fun to be working as a team to start and finish an audit.”
