Greensboro, North Carolina (October 3, 2023) — DMJPS PLLC, a U.S. Top 200 North Carolina CPA and accounting firm, is pleased to announce that Laura Hartley, CPA and Isaac Rowles, CPA have been named partners with DMJPS PLLC effective November 1, 2023.
Laura and Isaac both previously held positions of Senior Managers with DMJPS’ assurance department. The promotion of these seasoned professionals strengthens the firm’s commitment to delivering unparalleled assurance services to clients while further fortifying the firm’s expertise in auditing, financial reporting, and risk management.

Laura Hartley, CPA is an experienced assurance and accounting professional with fifteen years of public accounting experience. Laura has a pivotal role, actively engaging in a multitude of audits, reviews, and other attestation engagements for the firm. She is entrusted with the critical responsibilities of planning and supervising engagements for various businesses, organizations, and non-profits, including compliance-related audits, reflecting her experience in the field.
In addition to her professional achievements, Laura is a staunch advocate for employee engagement and workplace culture. She dedicates herself to mentoring the next generation of young leaders and accounting professionals, simultaneously spearheading numerous internal committees and initiatives.
Laura began her public accounting career as an intern for the firm and during her tenure has progressed forward in all professional roles. Her path to partnership is a testament to the adaptability and growth opportunities fostered within the firm.
Laura graduated from University of North Carolina – Greensboro where she earned a B.S. and continued onto earn a M.S. degree in Accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Isaac Rowles, CPA is an experienced accounting professional with extensive experience in assurance and accounting across diverse industries, including hospitality, manufacturing, construction, real estate, and non-profit sectors. He offers a skillful approach to services like consulting, agreed-upon procedure engagements, financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, and targeted assurance and accounting solutions.
Isaac is dedicated to propelling the accounting industry forward through cutting-edge technology, with a strong focus on AI and machine learning. His aim is to enhance financial understanding and efficiency for the businesses he serves.
Prior to joining DMJPS, Isaac was the food and beverage cost controller at the Omni Grove Park Inn gaining financial proficiency in hospitality. He also provided bookkeeping services for various small businesses and held positions in hospitality management along the East Coast. Isaac holds a Dual Major Associate of Applied Science in Professional Cooking and Professional Baking from Baltimore International College, showcasing his precision and attention to detail.
Isaac graduated from University of North Carolina – Asheville where he earned a B.S. in Accounting and Business Management. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. Isaac is also active in his community serving on the board of directors for several organizations including; Evergreen Community Charter School, Homeward Bound of Western North Carolina, and the University of North Carolina Asheville Business Department, and the Hatch Innovation Hub Foundation.
